People of all ages can learn effective
asthma management through the application of music as the vehicle for asthma education. The science of music and learning
validates the fact that music with an educational message is an effective teaching strategy. Because of our desire to maximize
its effectiveness, “Asthma Blues” was designed to be a program for people with asthma, their families,
and caregivers. Our music is the “universal communicator” that entertains and empowers
while encouraging asthma education participation. "Asthma Blues" can be applied
at home, in clinics, the emergency room, hospitals, at asthma camps, by educators in the community, and by nurses in the schools.
One of the very unique advantages of "Asthma Blues", is that young children, teens, adults, and those with
limited reading skills or low health literacy can benefit from our program.
